Algorithm

Algorithm

1. step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end.

   • Uses
     • You can use an algorithm for doing something you dont know how to do
       • Daily life
         • You use an algorithm when you dont know hhow to use a new application.
       • In sciences
         • When you nedd to do an example you use an algorithhm such as scientific method
   • characteristics:
     • Precision
       • steps are defined
     • Uniqueness
       • each instruction should be do it in a correct time
     • Finiteness
       • the algorithm stops after a finite number of instructions are executed.
     • Input
       • the algorithm receives input.
     • Output
       • the algorithm produces output.
