Process

1. INPUT devices

   • keyboard- allows the user to enter data by clicking on keys
   • mouse- allows the user to access data by clicking on the buttons
   • touch screen- allows the user to access data by tapping on a certain point
   • microphone- detects soundwaves nearby and magnifies them making the noise louder
   • heat sensor- detects if the house is at a stable temperature to warn you is there is a fire

2. OUTPUT devices

   • computer moniter- presents an image for the user so they can see what they are doing and clicking on
   • printer- prints out documents that you need
   • speakers- gives out sound that you want to listen to
   • LED light- gives out light when an output is sent to it

3. STORAGE devices

   • CD- saves videos and pictures that you may have taken off of your camera or phone
   • Hard disk- saves data from your computer or laptop
   • flash storage- flash storage uses flash memory to keep data for an extended period of time
   • SD card- an ultra small flash memory card designed to provide high-capacity memory in a small size
