1 Tendency to imprint with first object they see.
2 Hatched two groups of geese.
2.1 One group with natural mother.
2.2 One group with Lorenz.
3 Natural Group - saw natural mother when they hatched. Grew up normally.
4 Incubator group - Saw Lorenz when they hatched. Geese started to follow Lorenz around wherever he went.
5 When groups were mixed, they would quickly separate into the two original groups and followed around either Lorenz or their natural mother, depending on who they imprinted on.
