ram and rom
- ram is called random access memory
- the purpose is to quickly store and access data for its memory
- volatile means that when the power is turned off it lose it's memory so it is ram
- nonvolatile is when the power is turn off and it does not lose it's memory contents
- rom means read only memory
- the purpose of rom is that memory is stored even if the power is switched off
- ram stores information currently used
- rom mean that you can not change the stored data
- you can change what is on rom
- you can change what is on rom
- rom mean that you can not change the stored data
