1. Performing a Task Assessment

   • Students will perform a task that will demonstrate their knowledge in a meaningful way.
     • Application: Students will retell a story by acting it out.

2. Real-Life

   • Making connections to real life experiences.
     • Application: Students will connect real life experiences of blowing bubbles while using the scientific process

3. Construction of Knowledge

   • Students will analyze what they have learned and create meaning.
     • Application: Students will predict what will happen in bubble experiment.

4. Student-structured

   • Students have a choice and decide what they want to present as evidence of knowledge.
     • Application: Students will present on the topic: How I spent my summer vacation?
       • Possible ways to complete assignment:
         • video, powerpoint, paper,role play
           • Students can complete a self-assessment form.

5. Direct Evidence

   • Students will provide direct evidence of knowledge learned.
     • Application: Students will show different emotions for different scenarios.
