1. Magnetic Storage

   • PC, Xbox, Play Station,
     • Less durable than Solid State
     • Not very portable. less portable than optical
   • Used in many computer systems as they will not be moved around.
     • More Cost-Effective than solid state
     • Higher capacity than optical

2. Optical Storage

   • A very portable object used to store data on a disk or USB stick
     • Very portable. More portable than solid state
     • More cost effective than solid state
   • USB,disk
     • Lower capacity than Magnetic and solid state
     • Low read write speed. lowest read write speed

3. Solid State

   • Mostly used in phones.Solid state has no moving parts and has a high read write speed
     • Highest read write speed. Better than optical
     • more durable than optical
     • Higher capacity than optical storage
   • Phones,Tablets
     • Not as cost effective as Magnetic storage

4. Purpose

   • Permanent storage of data(Operating Systems,Applications,Files
