1. optical storage

   • You can carry it around meaning it portible and relitivly small.
   • It wont carry as much memory as a solid state or magnetic storage.
   • Is cheaper than solid state but not as cheap compared to a magnetic storage.
   • USB drive

2. magnetic storage

   • It has more storage capacity compared to a solid state.
   • It is slower to run than a solid state and can brake more easily as it has moving parts.
   • Magnetic storage is also more cost effective compared to solid state storage.

3. Solid state storage

   • sandisk 240GB ssd
   • Advantage:it has no moving parts therefor it is more durable than magnetic state.
   • Disadvantage:it is less cost effective and not as much memory as a magnetic state.
   • It is faster than magnetic state.
