    Annotations:

    • These can be worked out using the addition formulas given on the formula sheet, but it may be easier and quicker to learn them

            • the same as cos2A but also using the sin^2+cos^2=1 identity
        1. TRIG IDENTITIES

          Annotations:

          • New identities for A2 if you can't remember these they can be found by dividing sin^2 x + cos^2 x = 1 by either sin^2 x or cos^2 x this formula can also be used to prove
