     • The nucleus has genes in it. Genes control what the cell does

     • this is a thin layer around the cell. It lets substances in and out. This is the wall of the cell.
   • mitochondria
     • where respiration happens. This is the rice shaped things in the cell.
   • cytoplasm
     • his is where most of the chemical reactions in the cell happen. This is the floor of the cell.
