Resource summary

Renewable/Sustainable EnergyResources: Energy resources thatcannot be used up, or can bereplenished when used.
  1. Hydroelectric
    1. Water, typically from a dam/reservoir, is used to turn a turbine-generator to make electricity.
      1. But, a country must have rivers and the financial resources to build dams.
        1. Most rivers in the US that are suitable for dams already have them, and many large rivers cannot be dammed, as they are used for shipping.
    2. Wind
      1. Wind turbines with generators can produce electricity
        1. There are not emissions.
          1. But, again, these won't work everywhere, and they are expensive (but getting cheaper).
