1. if one computed has installed malware all devises connected are affected
2. have to log out of one thing to login into another

  5. if hub is attacked the whole network shuts down

IP Address
1. IP addresses are the (name of the device)
  1. without IP addresses the computer would become impossible to find on other devices on networks
2. there are 4 billion IP addresses so there lots of locations that share the same IP

  1. Packets are pieces of data split up into little pieces
  2. packets can be lost hacked and corrupt which is called packet loss and can cause errors
2. The internet is made of a mesh Topology
