      1. Learner-to-Learner/Learner-to-Technology: Students will work with a partner to go over their understanding of key vocabulary for weathering, erosion, and deposition. Choice A is a link to a virtual flash card set where partners can study together. Choice B is a link to a Flocabulary page that has both vocab cards and a vocab game students can play.

          1. Instructor-to-Learner/Learner-to-Learner: Students will do a hands-on activity through guidance of the teacher. Students interact as they discuss things as they go. Students write a reflection in a journal or digital journal. Many options for the teacher.

            1. Learner-to-Self: Students will go on a quest with Walter in Walter's Travels. This will involve a variety of activities including a simulation of weathering and erosion.
            2. Video Introduction
              1. Instructor-to-Learner: Teacher will introduce the concept of weathering, erosion, and deposition to students with this instructional video. Following the video, teacher will lead the class in discussion.
              2. Class Review
                1. Learner-to-Technology/Learner-to-Learner: Teacher will lead the class in a review of concepts in a Kahoot! review game. Students compete for the podium!
                  1. Instructor-to-Learner/Learner-to-Self: Students will go on a virtual field trip to Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico to see how rock formations change over time. Following the video, students will reflect in a journal or digital journal.
