  1. Less marriage and more cohabitation means less commitment to relationships and more relationships end
    1. Increase in divorce rates and divorce is much more accepted
      1. More financial independence for women, so they're less likely to stay in unhappy relationships
        1. Child tax credit means lone-parents have financial assistance
          1. Sex outside marriage & one night stands are more common
            1. More acceptable to have fertility treatments and to foster/adopt if you are single
