1 If the Church is the body of Christ, then it must have the same authority as Christ.
2 God did not stop communicating with people after the Bible was written, but speaks to the world through the Church
3 the Church is the community of Christian believers.
3.1 Therefore, it must be guided by God and so be able to make decisions on moral issues
4 the Church gives a clear path and tells them what decision to take
4.1 if we made our own decisions independently then it could lead to a number of outcomes.
5 Christians expect the Church to give them guidance of the Christian life

6 the Pope is the leader so God is helping him always make the right moral decisions
