Jeff Buckley
1. Battled with severe depression - this can be heard through his lyrics.
2. Influences included; Jazz, Rock, Folk and Heavy Metal.
3. He was born in California, 1966 and drowned whilst swimming in Wolf River Harbour, part of the Mississippi River in !997, aged 30. His death is not thought to have links with his depression.
4. Tim Buckley, his Dad, and Jeff were both musicians and singers with great emotional depth.
  1. His dad walked out on the family when Jeff was 6 months old.
  2. Jeff met Tim for the first time when he was 8. Tim died 2 months later.

2. In Eminor, but opens with Fminor7 and Gminor7, not generally found in the key of Eminor.

4. Lyrics are said to be about a dream Buckley had about a girl hanging on her boyfriends arm at an airport, not wanting him to leave, though they are clearly about death.
5. Described as a Rock-Ballad.
6. Co-written by Buckley and Gary Lucas, the guitarist.

1. Released in 1994, the same day as Oasis' Definitely Maybe.
2. Sales of the album were slow at first, but it was soon seen as a work of major importance by critics and musicians alike.
3. Re-released post-humously in 2000 under the title 'Grace-Legacy addition.'
