            1. Added to 1916 'New Tide' movement which aimed to get rid of old-fashioned ideas and to introduce: freedom, equal rights+ scientific progression

            1. 'Three Principles' 1924: National freedom, Democratic government, People's livelihood
              1. Aim: unite china under Sun's leadership and make it a republic free from foreigners
