    Annotations:

    • The Ancient Roman and Greece is the foundation of the Renaissance and without it, the Renaissance wouldn't be even possible. Ancient Greece and Rome is really important to Renaissance, because it's where it took place. So it's the root of Renaissance.
    1. Florence, Italy

      Annotations:

      • Florence is the cultural center during the Renaissance and also main city that the Renaissance started. This is important because without the Florence starting Renaissance, it wouldn't have carried out to the whole Europe and became one of the greatest period of time. Florence and Rome are all located in Italy.

        • Florence were ruled by rich families, and Medici Family ruled for over 3 centuries.

            • During the Renaissance, Florence were controlled by rich families, and the Medici Family held the most power. They remain their power in several ways including building a lot palaces. They were wealthy and able to maintain, and also one of the reason why the Renaissance art are so popular.

        • Change is really important to Renaissance, because it's the time when the culture have changes which led to the Renaissance, and also Renaissance marked the change of thinkings and change people's thinking.

          • Printing is major change in Renaissance. It is one of the reasons that individual study became really popular, before they invented printing, people need to copy the books by hands, and it takes 4 to 5 months just to copy a 200 pages book, which the books and paper were expensive. But After printing techniques are invented, it's much more faster to copy books, therefore it's easier for people to transfer ideas using literature.

                • Renaissance elevate humanism and individual thinkings, which opposite, the churches and kings believe that people should do what they were suppose to do. The Renaissance elevate that people should be curious and be questioning things. Therefore, two beliefs crashed together.

                • Science is important to Renaissance because when humanism was developed, people started to study science and question what the bible said, before the humanism was developed, people wouldn't question the bible. Science also improved a lot during the Renaissance period just like art and literature.

                  • Copernicus is the scientist who identified that earth orbits the sun. And it's really important because it's not obeying the old religious sayings.

                    • Galileo was a very famous scientist during the Renaissance. He discovered a new research that there are four moons that revolve around the Jupiter. Those are major discoveries during the Renaissance.

                      • He was an artist, scientist, engineer, and inventor. He drew the famous painting, Mona Lisa, and he also created inventions ideas that are far ahead of their time. Leonardo Da Vinci is the great example of Renaissance since his multiple interest and studies.

                        • Petrarch started the humanism and is also the first humanist. He was important to the Renaissance because the humanism changed how people look at life, and also the literature piece was still studied even till now.

                          • Perspective is important because there are a lot of new perspectives after the humanism, and the Renaissance paintings often have background that showed perspectives.The new perspectives brought a lot of big changes during the Renaissance.

                          • Rebirth of classical ideas are really important because that's pretty much the summary of Renaissance. Rebirthing the classical ideas is the root of Renaissance.The Renaissance is the period of time were great interest of art and learnings in Classical Period because popular again.
