                                            1. 1320s - The black plague erupted in Gobi desert
                                              1. 1340s - The plague spread towards the west
                                                1. 1347 - Plague reached Constantinople, then egypt and Cairo

                                            2. The diseases would follow cities and ships
                                              1. Some syptoms were fever, limbs, vomiting, blood and swelling of the lymph nodes
                                                1. Flagellants - were people that would punish themselves for what ever unpleased there god. They did this for walking through the streets wipping themselves.

                                                                    1. 1518 - When pope luther refused to take back his attack. The pope leo X said that indulgences isnt allowed and condemning luthers ideas
                                                                      1. 1520 - Pope gave him 60 days to recant or face excommunication. Luther send an apology but continued informing the public. Luther had support of the german nobility.
                                                                        1. 1521 - luther was excommunicated and summoned to the city of worms. He was later captured by his supporters and taken into saftey.

                                                                            1. 1524 - he was banished by the chruch and the emperor
                                                                              1. 1530 - Many german princes and cities signed a document called the Augsburg, for them to chose thir religion between Lutheranism or Catholicism
