League of Nations
- -To discourage aggression
from any countries
- To encourage countries to co-operate
especially in business and trade
- To encourage disarmament
- To improve living and working
conditions of people in all parts
of the world
- France wanted a league with an army
- Britain wanted it only to meet for
emergencies as there was already an
international conference
- America wanted a parliament for all
nations to meet and decide on
matters
- America won and it became
an international parliament
