   • Say what process it goes through
     • Talk about ID tags and CLASSES.
       • Find out what happens when the JavaScript function performs a validation check

3. Describe HTML calling validation routine

   • Talk about what it does to start the routine
     • JavaScript involved?
       • Find out what in the HTML code calls the validation routine

4. Add a text field

   • Ask user to input examination number
     • Check using JavaScript code to make sure the text field isn't left blank.
       • Check to see if the number is exactly 4 digits
