After hearing of a plot involving Bourbon the duc d'Enghien, Generals Pichegru
and Moreau and Chouan leader Cadoudal, Napoleon had them brought to Paris;
the duc and Cadoudal were tried and executed, Pichegru 'committed suicide' in
his cell and Moreau was banished
