   • its cheep to start up than trying to set up a whole computer based network
   • it can be cheeper because you would just need to write things
   • it can be hard to use because you can lose or destroy the paper version where if you had it on computer base you wouldn't lose things
   • it can be expensive because paper can cost alot depending on how much you have to buy and if you have to make lots of book full of infomation that will cost alot of money and alot of your time
   • it would take along time to update because you would have to make changes to every single one
   • a disadvantage of having paper base work is that you can't always prevent damage to it for example the work may be in your bag and its raining hevy and your walking to school and the work on the paper base is due in first lesson and you go into your bag and get it out to find that it is ruined due to the rain.A way you could prevent that though is by having it in a polly pocket then having it in a folder then it would be double protected and at less risk of getting damaged
   • it can be a good thing having a paper base because you will not be spending money on a computer and other things that you need for a computer base device.its also a good thing because you can put infomation through peoples doors and that way then they will see it

   • it is good to use a computer base because you will not lose thing easy and it will not take much of your time up because if you are making many book full of infomation you would be able to just copy and paste to save you time
   • it wouldn't take you along time to update it because you would just be able to make changes to one and then it would make changes to all of them
   • Another disadvantage of and computer base is that sometimes may not save and you would lose all of your work that you would have work you hardest on then if you had a deline and it had to be in the next day you would be in a pickle because you would have thought it would have save but it didn't then thr person who set you that work would be mad because it wouldn't be complete.
   • a disadvantage of a computer base is that if you don't have internet and you need to share it with your teacher there and then you wouldn't be able to .A solution to this is do your work at school in advance then you would be able to share your work with your teacher then you won't get in trouble
   • it good to have a computer base because although it may cost a bit its actually very helpful because it saves your hands hurting and you spending money on paper,pens and other supplies that you may need for a paper base.
   • a disadvantage of computer base is that if you send an email to someone with infomation in it they may not see because some people do not check their emails and therefore will not get any of the infomation that was in that email

3. Definition

   • database is some thing that hold or stores data but it is held together in a organised way
