1. Isotopes (see other)

   • Same proton number but different mass number

2. The nucleus is in the middle of the atom and contains PROTONS and NEUTRONS

   • Therefore because of the protons the nucleus is posotive

3. An atom contains Protons, Neutons and Electrons

4. Atoms are neutral because the charge on the electrons is the same size as the charge on the protons

5. Protons are heavy and positively charged

6. Neutrons are heavy and neutral

7. Electrons are tiny and negatively charged
