Rotoscoping
1. drawing around an object frame by frame
2. this is what makes actors look like another creature like an alien and it looks real because it is draw from real life
Stop motion animation
1. object is moved for every frame (picture taken)
2. group parts together
Bitmap/vector
1. Bitmap easier as it is already rendered being made of pixels
2. Vectors needed to be rendered for every frame as they are formulas
mood board to plan
1. GIFs and HTML fragments use animation
