He relied on the advice given to him by: -lawyers -financial administrators -men who told him whatbthe crown's powers were.
Henry provided a more efficient jurisdiction. His subjects was able to make decisions more effectively
He's secures his place in the Throne by doing things that is improving and stabilising the country's economy
He uses wealth to make alliances with other countries
He married ELIZABETH OF YORK in hopes of patching up the divisions between the houses of Lancaster and York caused by the Battle of Bosworth

HOWEVER; this angered noblemen who thought they ought to govern because of their titles and blood
GOVERNMENT
Henry's government first utilised the widespread use of printing.
He made peace with France after the 100 years war He also made peace with the Scots after the Scottish Wars of Independence
His daughter, Margaret, married James VI of Scots
This lead to the unification of England and Scotland, creating United Kingdom, a century later.
He gave the heirs to his throne a classical education
He first established the Navy with new, big warships as a permanent arm of the state
Religion
All English people belonged to the Catholic Church and were under the jurisdiction of the Pope in Rome.
He supported church reformers, like Bishop John Fisher and Franciscan Observants, who attacked the Catholic Church's jurisdiction

He invested a lot in grand palaces and hunting lodges.
