Binary and Linear Searching
Binary Searching
Data must be sorted and ordered.
Works by eliminating random numbers and deciding if they are too large or too small. Numbers larger than numbers marked as too large or numbers smaller than numbers marked as too small are also eliminated. This repeats until the right value is found.
Linear Searching
Data can be disordered.
Goes through every value deciding if it is or is not the correct value.
