Water, ice, acids, salt, plants, animals and changes in temperature can all cause weathering. Mechanical weathering causes rocks to crumble. Chemical weathering changes the molecular structure of a rock. Biological weathering is weathering due to living things. Human activity can speed up weathering. *Don't forget to check out the vocabulary for section 4A*
