1.the origins of Athenian democracy were to do with religion, religous festivals were held to honour the gods, especially Dionysis, the god of wine and ecstasy. Men attended mystical cult services dressed as satyrs.2.One change of theatre was from religion based story's to ones of mass struggle3.the staging of Athenian drama is different from modern drama because it was mainly tradgedy or comedy and performed outdoors in an ampitheatre.
