How to identify an element

Multiply the relative abundance and the m/z of each peak add them all together divide the total by the sum of the relative abundances e.g.Ar = (204 x 1) + (206 x 2) + (207 x 2) + (208 x 5)                                 10= 207=Pb

Ar = (90 x 50) + (91 x 10) + (92 x 20) + (94 x 20) + (96 x 5)                                            105= 91.5= Zr
