Toddlers:A balance of all required nutrients, toddlers are in good health due to strong immune systems.

Children:Need more energy than Toddlers because they are growing. They need a balance of fruit and vegetables and lots of calcium for bones.

Teenagers:Need lots of energy and nutrients because the body is growing during puberty.It also helps to stimulate hormones.

Adults:need a balance of nutrients and energy

Eldery:Due to less activity calories consumed should be lower, however a lot of vitamins are needed to sustain the immune system

Pregnant women:Need an increase in calories and food, also folic acid to avoid spinabifida.Cheeses and raw meat is advised to be avoided.Lots of fruit vegetables and starchy food for energy, and adequate water intake increased.

Lactating (Breast feeding):need around 500 more calories than if you are not. However a poor diet won't affect your breast milk.

Health issues:Heart problems: reduce fat and cholesterol in diet.Type 2 diabetes: reduce sugar intakecancer: a well balanced dietdigestive disorders: high fibre dietfood allergies: avoiding foods with certain allergens.

vegetarians:Meat alternatives and increases number of vegetables and nuts to improve protein levels.

Religious and Ethnic group:Judaism: Not shellfish or pork, no dairy and meat products in the same meal, only eat kosher meat.Hinduism: Do not eat beefSikhs: Do not eat beef, some are vegetarianMuslims: Do not eat pork, eat halal meat.
