Decode
Decoding is done with the ALU (arithmetic Logic unit). Each of the CPUs has a set of which it uses to decode. The ALU has to figure out the purpose of the binary code, because there are many different reasons that they can be used, for example sound or pixels in an image. Once it has figured out its purpose then it can be translated and then used.
FDE
Fetch is done with the address bus. The address bus finds the required address which has the needed data and then highlights it so that the data bus can bring the data across to the CPU.
Fetch
Execute
The executing process is the last process and it is the finished product is stored into another address so that it can be used. Once this is done the cycle is reset so that it can do it once again.
