- 1Metamorphism This is a solid state reaction where rock turn into another rock under the influence of HEAT,PRESSURE and FLUID ACTIVITY without melting. It is an ISOCHEMICAL reaction which means that no minerals are gained or lost therefore it is a closed system.Types of Metamorphism and conditions

Dynamic Metamorphism-Low Temps,High Pressure - 2Contact Metamorphism Caused By intrusion such as Pluton,Dykes and Sills. Limestone-Marble Sandstone-Metaquartzite Shale-Low grade-Slate with chlorite stains Intermediate grade-Shale with biotite High grade-Hornfels with Andaulusite and Chiastolite
