Summum Bonum
  1. A state in which Human virtue and happiness are united
    1. It is impossible for humans to achieve Summun Bonum in this life, meaning it is achieved in an afterlife
      1. Humans can achieve virtue but it is outside their power to ensure that it's rewarded or coincided with hapiness
        1. Therefore this leads to a need to argue for the existence of God
      2. Is the idea of a reward for acting morally
        1. Sometimes a morally vistuous act is not rewarded in our lives however it is logical that a moral act is rewarded therefore Summun Bonum offers this reward eventually as all virtous acts must be rewarded.
          1. We have a moral obligation to seek Summun Bonum
