1. Advantages

   • Your files can be accessed from any device as long as you have an internet connection
   • If someone decides that they want to increase the amount of storage that they have, they can do it easily
   • The host company ( also known as the cloud computing provider ) provides security and backups without the user having to do anything
   • Cloud Software updates are automatic so you don't need to do it yourself
   • The user doesn't need to pay IT staff to manage the hardware

2. Disadvantages

   • There is a chance that you will get hacked. Any personal info that was saved may be leaked
   • To access your files and documents, you must have an internet connection or else you won't be able to see them
   • The user has to depend on the host to do frequent backups and security checks
   • Cloud Computing services could be too expensive for some people
   • The user could have a chance at losing rights to their work if they store it online

3. Types of service

   • Storage - allowing your data to be stored remotely on the host's servers
   • Infrastructure - you can pay to use the host's hardware
   • Software - you can pay to use the software remotely
   • Processing - this means that you could run complicated programmes remotely
