God's Covenants

God's Covenant with moses

• Moses is very important for 2 reasons:
• He led the Hebrews out of Egypt and away from slavery - Exodus
• He became God's Message as he delivered the Ten commandments.
• Orthodox Jews- The full Torah was given to Moses by God on Mt Sinai, everything written in it is as important today as it was when it was first given to Moses
• Reform Jews: The Torah was not all given to Moses by god on Mt Sinai but was written by a number of people over a long of the based their experience with god and other humans. For this reason, the Torah needs reinterpreting as times change.
