Research on coding= Baddley
- Participants were shown a list of words that were either semantically similar/dissimilar or acoustically similar/disimilar.
- particpants were shown the orginal words and asked to recall them in the correct order. When they had to do this, immediately after hearing it they had difficulty remembering acoustically coded words and when they had to wait to recall after a time period,(20) they did worse with the semantically similar words.
