   • Sign test = s (smallest number out of total +/- answers.
   • Observer value is given for all others

2. The level of significance

   • Use 0.05 or 5% unless stated otherwise

3. The type of hypothesis

   • One tailed (directional)
   • Two tailed (non-directional)

4. The number of ppts represented by N

   • Mann - Whitney
   • Wilcoxon
   • Spearman's Rho
   • Sign test

5. The degrees of freedom represented by df

   • Unrelated T test
     • N of ppts in condition A - N of ppts in condition B
   • Related T test
     • N of ppts - 1
   • Chi Square
     • (rows - 1) x (column - 1)
   • Pearson's
     • N of ppts - 2

6. Critical value

   • Comes from the stats tables also need to determine if value needs to be more than, less than or equal too. It'll also say in the table
