1. What is a partnership under S.1 Partnership Act 1890

   • Partnership comes into being when 2 or more people carry on business for common purpose of making profit
   • s.2 (3) the existance of P always a matter of fact eg receipt of profit is evidence
   • no formalities or requirements actually needed to form P
   • Good idea to have Pship Agreement though!
