1. Explanation:

   • Scientists believe that remembering information involves three stages; Encoding is where information is changed so that the brain can understand it, Storage is where the information is held in the memory stores in the brain, finally the information is retrieved when it needed to be remembered, for anything to be remembered it needs to go through all three stages.

   • Schemas are building blocks of memory that we use so that information is understood, we do this by changing the factual information. this means that the information we remember is not the whole situation. this is why two people can remember the same information differently, when neither of them is lying.
