Cards in this deck (11)
- 1Definition of a Computer System ?Its the hardware and the software setup.
- 2The purpose of CPU ?To process data and instructions.
- 3What happens during the FDE cycle ?The memory address held in the program counter PC.
- 4Factors affecting performance (The 3 C's) ?Clarity, Contextual Meaning, and Composure.
- 5What is cores ?Essential, or enduring part (as of an individual, a class).
- 6what is cache ?Cache is a hardware or software component that stores data so that future requests for that data can be served faster.
- 7What is clock speed ?The clock speed measures the number of cycles your CPU executes per second.
- 8What its the best CPU in the moment ?Processor Intel Core i9-13900KF.
- 9What are the components of the CPU?Control unit, Clock, buses, registers, ALU.
- 10What does each component do?ALU: the ALU is the calculator of the CPU.
Control unit: the control units runs the show.
Buses: CPU bus is a set of parallel wires that transport data.
Registers: very last memory locations located inside the CPU.
Clock: punctual, reliable and good rhythm - 11What are the 5 different registers?memory address register(MAR)
memory data register(MDR)
current instruction register(CIR)
