1. Optical Storage

   • disadvantage
     • it isnt very durable compared to solid state and magnetic because it has got lots of moving parts
   • advantage
     • it is portable compared to solid state and magnetic

2. Solid State Storage

   • Disadvantages
     • there is a less capacity of storage compared to magnetic
   • advantages
     • its has faster read write speed compared to magnetic therefor it loads and saves programs and files quicker.

3. Magnetic storage

   • it has slower read write speed but it is more cost effective.
   • a example of something with magnetic storage is a Floppy disc
   • advantage
     • it is less cost effective compared to solid state.
   • it has a slower read write speed compared to solid state
