Rigid Transformations

1. Translation

   • Translation simply means "moving"
   • Every point of the shape must move
   • The same distance.

2. Rotation

   • A transformation in which a plane figure turns around a fixed center point.
   • The distance from the center to any point on on the shape stays the same.
   • Every point makes a circle around the center

3. Reflection

   • Mirrors, Glass, etc.
   • Every point is the same distance from the central line.
     • The reflection has the same size as the original image/ shape
