  1. Risk Register Updates

    • Residual Risk
      • Risk that remain after risk response planning
      • After you have avoided ,exploited, mitigated ,enhanced, transferred , shared and actively accepted risks , there will still be some risk that remain
    • Contingency Plan
      • plans describing the specific actions that will be taken if the opportunity or threat occurs
    • Fallback Plan
      • specific action if contingency plan are not efffective
    • Risk Owners
      • Each Risk must be assigned to someone who may help develop the risk response and who will be assigned to carry out the risk response
        • The Risk Owner can be a stakeholder other than a team member
          • The Risk occurs , the risk owner takes the preapproved action determined in a project planning and inform to PM
    • Secondary Risk
      • Any new Risk created by the implementation of selected risk response should also be analyzed as part of risk response planning
        • a response to one risk will create the possibility of new risk that would otherwise not have occurred
          • The discovery of secondary risk may require additional risk response planning
    • Risk Triggers
      • These are events that trigger the contingency response
        • Early warning signs for each risk can help to know when take the action
    • Contracts
      • include terms and conditions required in a project
        • PM must be involved before a contract is signed
          • PM should have a complete risk analysis and include terms and conditions requiered to mitigate or allocate threats and to enhance opportunity
    • Reserves (contingency)
      • Having reserves for time and cost is a requiered part of a project management
        • Should include in the Cost Management
      • Contingency reserves
        • Account for "known unknowns" that you identify in risk Management
        • are calculated and become part of the cost baseline
      • Management reserves
        • Account for "known unknowns" these are items you did not or could not identify in the risk management
        • are estimated and then these reserves are added to the cost baseline to get the project budget
      • PM has control of the cost baseline and can approve use the contingency reserves , but management approval is needed to use management reserves
      • Make sure you realize that reserves are not an additional cost to a project
  2. Project Documents Update

    • Other Documents a PM has created to help manage the project may also change
