Un indicador es una HERRAMIENTA de comparación entre dos o más tipos de datos VARIABLES, que sirve para elaborar una medida ESTANDAR.
- Pueden ser: CUANTITATIVOS CUALITATIVOS
- Miden de forma precisa el IMPACTO y el cumplimiento de los OBJETIVOS
- Sirven para: EVALUAR - ESTIMAR - DEMOSTRAR el progreso de las metas establecidas.
- Facilitan la GESTIÓN - ALCANCE DE LOS OBJETIVOS-
CARACTERISTICAS: Pertenecer a un marco conceptual que pertmita establecer la asociacion a un evento
- Ser ESPECIFICOS y EXPLICITOS.
- Estar VINCULADOS a fenomenos sociales-culturales-economicos -naturaleza
- Deben ser MEDIBLES
- Deben ser RELEVANTES y OPORTUNOS
- CLARO y COMPRENSIBLE
- Los indicadores deben ser definidos, contar con las fórmulas de cálculo y metadatos necesarios para su mejor entendimiento y socialización
