   • Atoms of the same element with the same number of protons but a different nuber or neutrons
   • Two types
     • Regular
     • Radioisotopes
       • Can cure cancer
         • Decay to give out rays that kill cancer cells
       • Check for oil and gas leaks
         • Geiger counter
