1. solid state

   • faster read and write speed than magnetic. Then apps will load quicker.
   • it has lower capacity than magnetic.
   • Used in portable devices because here isn't any moving parts so it wont break when it's dropped.

2. Magnetic storage

   • It's got low read/write speed.
   • Higher capacity.
   • this is used on a games console such as a ps4, a budget laptop.

3. optical storage

   • It's easy to transport around to other places.
   • It isn't very durable compare to solid state.
