   • It has cheep media
   • CD & DVD can hold lots of media
   • Large market of music,movies and games
   • It is easy to carry
   • It is small in size
   • Slower data transfering rate
   • Required specified drives to write data to the dics
   • Limited number of writes
   • Small capacity compared to some flash/thumb drive

3. Solid state storage

   • fast read/write speed compere to magnetic storage. That means it save and loads data faster.
   • It has a lowest capacity compere to magnetic storage
   • It's non-volatile
