CSS

  1. CSS

    • Stands for Cascading Style Sheets
    • Controls the layout of loads of pages at once
    • Language that describes the style of a HTML document
    • Describes how elements should be shown
  2. Why do we use CSS?

    • You can define the styles for your web page
    • It includes the layout and design
    • Controls the variation in display for different devices and screen sizes
  3. What difference does it make

    • HTML wasn't gonna have tags used for formatting like the font
    • To solve the problem, W3C created CSS
    • This removed style formatting from the HTML page
    • When CSS was added to HTML 32 it became a long process for web developers
