Structures
They are capable of carrying the load they were designed for without collapsing.
- Types of stuctures
- Frames
- Bars joined together to make a framework. They are used to make structures in an economic way.
- Forces in Frame structures
- Structures should be able to withstand all the forces it will experience without collpasing or loosing stability at all Moments.
- Beams
- Any member that has to resist bending is called Beam. They are great when we are gonna build a bridge.
- Cantilevers: Beams that is only supported at one end. When it is required to carry a large load, bending moments should be taken into account

- Stability
- A structure that won't fall or topple has stability.
- For this, we need to make sure that our structure is on the centre of gravity.
- in physics, an imaginary point in a body of matter where, for convenience in certain calculations, the total weight of the body may be thought to be concentrated.
- For this, we need to make sure that our structure is on the centre of gravity.
