MOTIVATION

1. It is

   • Gilbert Aubert , motivation is a mixture of passion , purpose, Decision Making and commitment.
   • Motivation is the energy that keeps us going and rushing toward achieving our dreams , no excuses, no complaining, unstoppable , doing the right things and taking risks.
   • With motivation we will be willing to take risks
   • the exercise we do and how we eat are linked to our motivation

2. Motivation classes

   • Or integrative intrinsic motivation
     • Allport (1974). once the student has ability and applied to study English language skills acquired become interest
   • Extrinsic motivation or Instrumental
     • the need to obtain a degree in another country; improving the economic situation by better pay or a promotion in employment on the acquisition of a foreign language ; or improving reading, writing and translation in the English language

3. FACTORS AFFECTING MOTIVATION

   • attitudes
     • Crookall and Oxford (1988-136) note that " learning a second language is ultimately learn to be another social person."
   • Study Habits
     • learning motivation is to recognize that students sometimes develop habits that go against your own performance : copy, apathy , etc.
   • Role of the teacher and student
     • This relationship - role between teacher and student is open and cooperative , to allow ample learning
   • Learning style
     • interpersonal characteristics they are a great motivation
